no need for words on this post. you all know who she is!
(look at this ginormous fish my step-dad caught from the tank right before we left for the photoshoot! it was about 40lbs! these things are swimming around in our backyard! kinsey really wanted to pet it, but i’m pretty sure it would have eaten her.)

(a quick macro shot of the beautiful flowers in our neighbor’s yard)

the dress never arrived! and i lost the beanie somewhere in the house! needless to say, things weren’t going well right before the shoot, but i am so thankful kinsey is such a cutie. aaaand that i had gram to tag along and make her smile and dance.
best to all.
fun news coming soon.
since i knew i would be hanging with my precious niece this weekend, i ordered some uber cute stuff from etsy.com to play dress up and take photos.
well, i messed up and ordered too late! i did get the beanie on time, but the dress is still floating around in UPS land.
this morning, kinz and i went outside and i could barely keep the beanie on! she despises most anything that covers her thin, blonde hair. but i managed to get a few emotions out of her.

(this one makes me want to cry! she looks so sad! i promise, we really were having fun!)

i’m really hoping the dress arrives sometime today so we can go out later and take more photos! you might be seeing more of this cute beanie!
best to all.
stuart posted our wedding trailer over on his blog.
it is so great. and awesome. and the best video i have ever seen. i would probably pay money to see it again.
it’s, like, a movie!
GO NOW!

(i posted this original in the last blog, but i added some texture and effects and i like this one better.)

(just for fun
you can totally see our reflections in his iphone!)

(hey, how did that get in here?
had to get a cute ‘engagement’ pic of the old married folks, too!)

STILL not finished editing these awesome pics! there are just too many good ones to choose from!
p.s.– thanks for all the kind words in your comments. i read each and every one of them and they always make my day!
best to all.
do you remember back in july when these two got engaged? it was one of the biggest engagements i have ever been a part of and i cannot wait until this cute, little wedding will happen on april 25th (ahem, the ‘perfect date’ if you remember from miss congeniality!).
since they are some of our closest friends (corby was dane’s best man) i knew them pretty well and had some back story on the two. my inspiration for this shoot was COLOR. they are both very unique individuals and very fun and quirky…especially natalie. my goal was to have vibrant colors as the theme throughout the session and i was excited to reveal my ideas as they met at our house on saturday. when they walked in, they did not disappoint! you will see in the first few photos why i was inspired by a vibrant color theme. do not be fooled…natalie and i DID not discuss outfit colors at all prior to the shoot. it was the best present, as a photographer, i could have received that day! oh, i just love them!

aren’t they just precious? they were a perfect couple and perfect models for us! we had a great time hanging out guys!
more to come later!
